I MUST show you all my punkin . . I don't think I have shown it yet.

This was from the CAL at Megan's  Crochet Everyday blog.

The left flag in the background was from Gene's Dad.
The one on the right was from Dad.
They have a place of honor
on top of Grandma's China Cabinet
in the dining room.

Last year,

the husband and I found the Pilgrim couple.

This year,

at Hobby Lobby,

we found the Native American trio.

I love the fact that the Native Americans

are all carrying different items . . .

a pumpkin,

a fruit bowl/cornucopia

and a turkey.

Also, there are two women and a man represented.

The punkin of mine

is no longer with'

it's Thanksgiving friends.

I made him as a Halloween "treat"

for our neighbor,

who just turned 6 months a little while ago . . .

He came over in the

skunk costume his grandma made for him.

Not real thrilled about

this costume business . . .

but he did show some interest

in a stuffed,

6 month old hand sized

punkin.

Now,

I am using the pattern to make

"squash" and "apples."

They are being made as cat toys . . .

a little stuffing,

some catnip

and attach a bell to a piece of yarn inside

and VIOLA . . .

an Abigail Kitty Girl approved toy.



Warning...Suspected Phishing site

PLEASE let me know if any more of you get The title of this posting when you visit my blog.

I received an email today that included this info:
But, every time I went to your site, it had one of those big red warning signs that said Warning...Suspected Phishing site.



So, 3 of the blogs listed on your site did this. I did not want others who may get this warning to think there was something up. I know and you know that you've been a blogger for a long time so it's someone or something within your site that got infected. It may have been a place where you posted photos or something. Anyway, It was fine to view on Internet Explorer but other browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Mozilla showed the Warnings.
 
It didn't have the red highlighted area, I just wanted that to stand out for all of you.
 
I have deleted the widget on my sidebar that had listed the blogs I followed . . . I am hoping this takes care of the problem.
 
BIT . . .if you get this message . . PLEASE TELL ME ! ! ! ! !

I Just Hate it When Crap Like This Happens to Me . . or Anyone Else

Almost Done

Everything is washed and wrapped and in their envelopes. All I need to do is print the shipping labels and the "treasures" from the Give-Away will be on their way.


I know, I know . . .I promised Monday or Tuesday . . I hope a Wednesday mailing will be okay.
I do think I have learned a way to streamline the mailing . . get everything in an envelope so all I need to do is put the label on.


Next time, I hope to cut down the processing time.

Poor basket, has been in the bottom of a dresser since we moved her . . however, it smelled DELICIOUS because it had a bar of Old English Lavender soap in it . . . along with some other treasures that fit perfectly in it for the move of 2006.

It's GIVE-AWAY Day

My Loyal Readers, at least I hope you are loyal readers by now, I shall have the hubby draw names within the next couple of hours. I have been on the computer for 5 hours no re-writing a pattern for the sleeping bag pictured below. I am so AMAZED that it was so easy to make but such a BEAR to write out!

The body of the bag is a Piece-of-Cake.

Writing the pattern for a heart is hard.
But, then making a heart into a "square"
and the square into a "squared" circle makes it even rougher.
If I have 1` round after the heart correct I will be ECSTATIC!
