Higher Education
I'm Lucky.
I'm Lucky.
I not only went to college
(Ball State University
Muncie, Indiana
1973 -BS in Education)
but I also
received a Masters Degree
and ended up with
(I think)
at least 35 more hours.

So,
my block #42
is the Blessing
of Higher Education.
I lived so close to Indianapolis,
it was a MUST that I would
get my Master's degree
somewhere in the area.
Some of the classes were from
IUPUI
and some were from
IU-Kokomo,
but the majority were from
Butler University
in Indianapolis,Indiana.
Not cheap,
by any means . . .
private schools never are.
They had what I wanted
and I appreciated
thee small classes.
I never got close to any students,
I don't think you do
at the masters level
but I did have one professor
more often than not,
guess not that many
wanted to teach evenings.
I'm glad I had him . . .
I liked his classroom etiquette
and his background in the
Public School System.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for the privilege of attaining my childhood dreams of teaching. No matter what people outside of Public Education think, my motto has always been "I Care, Therefore I Teach." I always thought I would like the past tense of this placed in the back of my gravestone "She Cared, Therefore she Taught." That would be my life in a nutshell.
Amen.
