Food,
I can't live with it
and
I can't live without it.
I have been blessed with a life
where there was always
food on the table.
I know I abuse it.
Why?
I have tried
to answer that
and can't.
As they say:
"That would be the answer to
the $64,000 Question."
Dear Lord,
Thank You so much for always providing food for my table This has nourished my body while You nourished my soul.
But, Dear Lord, I have always wondered why you made the land in America so fertile yet keep rain away from other countries so they can not grow their food?
I know you work in mysterious ways but whenever I see pictures of malnourished children I always want to ask, "Why?"
Amen

You have been busy, busy, busy.
You're holding out on us! ;0)
Your squares - as always - are fabulous! And the cornucopia is perfect for this blessing!

Oh my goodness... How far behind am I?!! The heat really takes its toll on me this year! I don't know if it's my age, the fact that I miss my air conditioner that I lost discarded last year in "the big bad move", or if it's a combination of both!.. Anyways, yes food is a wonderful blessing!.. I don't like the TOLL this blessing is taking on me, THIS YEAR IN PARTICULAR!! (Is it just me?.. or are the 40s particularly cruel on a middle aged girl??) For the first time in my LIFE, (which I suppose I should be grateful for) I have had to WATCH WHAT I EAT!! The HORROR!! )0:> Well, I guess with all our wonderful blessings, we still have to expect a few growing pains along the way. (sigh) I'm o.k. with this.. really.. I'm o.k... Your cornucopia is beautiful, Paula! LOVE this square too! ~tina
