With that title I feel like I should break out into a chorus with Janis Joplin:
Oh Lord,
won't you but me
a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive
I must make amends.
I ALWAYS think of that when I say, "Oh Lord!"
Tonight, I'm saying it because I have been as busy as a beaver all day on my Blessings Project. So far:
cloth is all blocked out into 1" x 1" squares in a variegated denim blue running stitch,
I have searched the Blessings blogs at Counting My Blessings to see which ones look interesting enough to follow,
wondering why my blog isn't on the list yet . . I have more done than some . . but way behind others . . which is fine,
looked all over the Internet for a tree of life I liked. I found one, but it was only a little over 1" square, and I want mine to be bigger . . so graph paper, here I come. I MUST get this done and started tomorrow . . then I can break into my blessings squares,
fixed my scrolling marquee so the 1st of the blogs I follow will appear in the order I want them to appear . . with one exception . . Tina MUST be in 1st place since her blog is what led me to all of this and
finally ready to go upstairs and relax for today.
It has been a weird one today . . . Husband an I watched
V for Vendetta
last night
and when we discovered it was 1:30 am . . he went to bed and I finished it.
I have paid for it dearly today
by napping off and on all morning and afternoon . . .
even dreaming in one of the naps so I know I was tired.
Hopefully I can get some much needed rest tonight.
Signed,
B is for Blessings
