Credit
If you can't tell,
this is an
"artistic" rendering
of a famous
credit card company's
logo.
Now,
I am not blessed
by a credit card.
I am blessed
to have been able
to pay off
all of my bills
in full.
When we applied
for a loan
to remodel
the bedroom,
the woman was
shocked when she saw
my credit score.
She said that
she rarely sees
scores as high as mine.
So,
I guess it has paid off
to pay off
my purchases on time,
if not early.
I do not like
to have bills hanging
over my head.
Since we have been here
I have had to pay for:
- lens implants
- waterproofing the basement
- new bath tub surround and
- three different window groupings.
I am hoping
that when I get
the waterproofing
and the last set of windowss
paid off
that I will finally
be able to save
for that infamous
rainy day.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for placing me in a family that did not spend money lavishly. We were buy what you need and pay for it. Very seldom can I remember my parents buying something on cdredit. If it was, it would have been a car or a major househols appliance. Of course, then they had lay-a-way that helped with budgeting money. I'm glad to see K-mart starting that again. It is SO NICE not to have to pay interest on a purchase . . . specially with some of the exhorbitant rates that are charged now.
Amen

I remember when I bought a SUV several years ago - the salesman told me I had 'saintly' credit. I have two cards and have not used them in almost two yrs. I can't wait until the day comes they are paid off.
Good for you to have been taught by loving parents how to use credit!
Smiles - Denise
